On the wall below the TV, Nick and Micky finished up with:
-
Eight network cables
-
A telephone connection (for the Sky box)
-
A TV aerial feed
-
An FM aerial feed
-
A satellite dish feed
-
Feeds to each Home Theatre speaker
-
A two amp mains socket for a table lamp
-
Several additional mains sockets
While there was a hole in the wall, this was used to feed a cable through to
outside to suit any external lights which may be added in the future.
Close by is the twelve volt power supply for the electric curtains and the
control cable needed to remotely activate the curtains from the Comfort system.
The patio doors, like all the windows, are also fitted with alarm contacts. As
all the rooms have PIR detectors, the contacts are not needed for security.
They have been fitted to allow Comfort to recognise that windows have been left
open when the property is about to be vacated.
